Ocala Driver Pleas to Reduced Charge

case-results-1.jpg

The Ocala Police Department conducted a traffic stop around the 800 block of North Pine Avenue on a motor vehicle after running the license plate of the vehicle and finding that the registered owner of the vehicle did not have a valid license. The officer then made contact with the driver of the vehicle, who admitted that her license was suspended. A license check confirmed that the driver’s license was suspended. The driver was ultimately arrested for driving while license suspended.

The driver hired Meldon Law. The attorney at Meldon reviewed the arrest report and driver’s record and then spoke with the prosecutor. The attorney was then able to negotiate a resolution that resulted in the charge being reduced to No Valid Driver’s license, and the client was able to receive a withhold of adjudication.
