Episode 54 – James Bates & Elio Piedra

Today on Meldon Law & Friends, we’re joined first by former Florida Gators Football linebacker, James Bates! Bates studied telecommunications while at the University of Florida. He combined that with his good relationship with the media into opportunities to call high school football. He then jumped around from Fox Sports Florida to CBS Sports, where he did play-by-play for the Mountain West. Then, we’re joined by a repeat guest, Elio Piedra! Elio is a local Latin DJ/Musician, who has performed shows at the University of Florida, Santa Fe College, and the Hippodrome, as well as various events in support of the community, such as UF’s Dance Marathon, Mi Apá Latin Cafe’s 15th Anniversary Block Parties, and Okito America’s Family Private Events.
