Cary Torres
Cary Torres is a prelitigation attorney with Meldon Law. Prior to joining Meldon Law, Cary was a Shareholder at Torres Law Firm, PA, where she successfully litigated personal injury cases and represented individuals and businesses with immigration law matters. Cary’s experience also includes representing UF Health in integrating healthcare compliance and general liability, privacy, and data protection into UF Health’s operational documents and procedures. Cary has been an active member of the Florida Bar since 1996. She is also admitted to the U.S. District Court, Northern and Southern Districts. Cary has achieved winning results for clients through her commitment to preparation and establishing solid cases for clients.
Cary was previously appointed by the governor of Florida to serve as a member of the Judicial Nominating Committee in the Eighth Judicial Circuit of Florida. She has also served on the Board of the Santa Fe College Foundation, and as a member of the James C. Adkins, Jr. American Inn of Court and the Eighth Judicial Circuit Bar Association. In her free time, Cary enjoys spending time with her family, hiking, and at the beach.
