Yolanda Correa
Yolanda has been working in the personal injury field since 2001 and obtained her AS Degree in Legal Assist./Paralegal Studies in 2003. As a Legal Assist. or Paralegal, she has vast experience and is specialized in personal injury claims. She has dedicated her career developing a strong reputation providing case management and supervisory services to select reputable firms that practice personal injury. Yolanda feels fortunate that her choice in career has allowed her to fulfil a purpose in her life and in the life of others as she humbly serves those in need.
As the Supervisor of the Pre-Lit Dept. at Meldon Law, Yolanda is responsible for the direct oversight, accountability, and productivity of the Pre-Lit Dept. She puts the success of the firm and team above her own interest, contributes to building a positive team spirit, morale, and supports the team so they can succeed in their roles, duties, and responsibilities. As a Case Manager, she performs the same duties and responsibilities as her colleagues. Yolanda helps, guides, and supports our Spanish speaking clients by ensuring they are being heard, taken seriously, and that their rights are being respected.
Yolanda was born in Puerto Rico and moved to South Florida at the age of six. Being raised in Miami-Dade did not deter her mother from making sure their culture remained rich through historical traditions which they celebrate yearly. Yolanda is bilingual thanks to her mother’s constant demands for her to read, write, and speak her native language at home. She now lives in North Florida with her 3 children: Leslie, Yandel, and Camila. Her personal time is spent creating memories with her children, traveling, gardening, and woodworking projects. In her spare time, she rehabilitates homes in a mission to provide affordable housing for low-income families and is a board member of the Live for Brie Foundation.
