Roll-0ver Accident on I-75 kills two and critically injures 2 others.

An accident on I-75 yesterday killed a woman from New York and her 4 year old son and critically injured the driver and another passenger when the SUV they were traveling in hit the guardrail and rolled over in Columbia County.

The cause of the crash is still under investigation; however, what is known is that the family was returning home after vacationing in Bushnell when the accident occurred early Tuesday morning. According to the Florida Highway Patrol, the SUV strayed off the road and into the inside emergency lane, causing the driver to swerve back on the road and in doing so lost control of the vehicle and went back off the road again, hit the guardrail and then began rolling over on the Interstate, causing the roof to severely crush down.

It is speculated that fatigue may have been a factor in this deadly crash that backed up traffic for nearly two hours. 

All occupants of the SUV were wearing seatbelts at the time of the crash.
