Fatal Single-Car Crash; No safety Belt & On a Rural Road After Dark.

A single-vehicle crash in Putnam County left one man dead on May 28, 2009, after his pick-up truck deviated from the road for unknown reasons.
Authorities do, however, know that the driver failed to wear his seatbelt.
The Interlachen resident, Donald C. Holland, 61, was driving around 9 pm on S.R. 100 when his pick-up truck failed to curve left with the road, spun out of control, and hit a tree and a utility pole, according to the Gainesville Sun.
