What are the Proper Intersection Rules in Florida?

According to Florida law,
http://law.onecle.com/florida/motor-vehicles/316.123.html, the first thing to look for at an intersection is a stop or yield sign.

These signs are clear indicators of who should go first. The law clearly states that a driver should allow another who entered the intersection first, or someone who looks as if they are not going to stop, to go first, for safety reasons.

If more than one vehicle gets to the intersection at the same time, the driver to the right has the right-of-way. When in doubt, the best way to remember is that right-of-way means the person to the right. It's in the name!

Yield signs are different. When approaching a yield sign, the law states that the driver should slow down or even stop, if it is safe, in order to have a clear view of the traffic approaching in the lane you are trying to merge into. Here, the drivers already in the intersection or on the highway have the right-of-way and the driver with the yield sign is required to allow them to safely pass before entering the intersection or highway.
