As an experienced DUI lawyer for Gainesville and all of Alachua County, I know this is a common and improtant question, here is the info:
If you took the breath test and blew under a .08 BAC, you will not lose your driver's license immediately. If you are later convicted of DUI, your license may be suspended at that time.
If you took the breath test and blew over the legal limit of .08 BAC, you may drive for 10 days with no restrictions, if it is your first dui charge. At that time, I recommend consultation with an experienced DUI attorney to take timely legal action.
If you refused to take the breath test, and are later convicted of DUI, you may not be eligible for a Business Purpose Only (BPO) hardship license until up to 90 days after the suspension begins.
My advice: consult with an experienced DUI attorney to take timely action. For more information, request a free copy of A DUI Guide for Alachua County

I was recently arrested for DUI, and I am worried a driver's license suspension will cause me to lose my job. How long can I drive? What should I do?
