Thank you for taking the time to learn more about me.  I have been working for Jeffrey Meldon as a legal assistant since 1979, over 30 years!   I am the Office Manager and lead Legal Assistant and Case Manager for the DUI/Criminal Defense Department. I schedule hearings and depositions, and provide case updates to our clients and their families.  If you are charged with drunk driving, DUI, drugs, or other Criminal offenses, in Gainesville or Alachua County, I am the one you will be talking with eventually.  I do my best to get things done the right way with the DMV and the Courthouse.  I enjoy supporting the Team to obtain the best results for our clients.

What I like most about my job is that I am never bored and am learning something new each day.  I enjoy communicating with our clients and their families. Based on my 36 years of Legal Assisting I realize that when people need legal services it is usually a stressful time in their life and I try to ease their anxieties and concerns.

I feel fortunate to be a part of the very caring staff at Jeffrey Meldon and Associates.  We have become great friends and have seen each other through good and bad times, like an extended family.  We make a great team and take pride in our profession.

I was born and raised in Vero Beach, Florida and moved to Gainesville in 1971.  My paternal grandparents were one of the first settlers of Vero Beach.  I am an avid Gator fan and served for four years as the President of the Gator Dugout Club, a private booster club for Gator Baseball.  I have also participated in the Big Brother Big Sisters organizations and Stop! Children’s Cancer, a local fund raising event.
